Good evening everyone!
Enjoy watching this video of a few survivors of the Titanic talking about their final moments on the great ship! One of the survivors is an elderly woman who had several staterooms and 19 steamer trunks! The next person was an immigrant picked up in Ireland who was not even allowed on the upper decks! Then there is a gentleman who was a steward who was ordered to row one of the lifeboats!

This message is for all of my students at North Hollywood High School.
I want to apologize for not posting for a long period of time. The problem was that I was unable to link my blog to the North Hollywood High School until this past week. I ask that you either subscribe to my blog or check on it often to see new postings. More importantly, I invite you to comment on different posts so that we can begin a conversation. I believe that through discussion, we will not only better understand different ideas, but we will better understand each other. I am excited about this opportunity and I hope that you all will participate.
Remember, your postings will be on the internet for all people to see. Keeping that in mind, I expect all comments to be appropriate and on topic. However, do not be intimidated or afraid to post your thoughts. The idea is for all of us to learn from each other! I know that this is another chance and form for me to learn from you. Let’s see what happens, and let’s have fun sharing our thoughts and ideas!

Greetings to my new students!
Welcome to my blog. My name is Steve Krohn and my new adventure is to fill the huge void left by the departure of Ms. Hausch. I have no expectations about taking her place, I cannot do that, nor would I try. Though I intend to do my very best to continue Ms. Hausch’s success with her students’ achievement, I expect that we are probably fairly different kinds of people with very similar goals! I love learning and teaching, but mostly, I love empowering others to achieve higher than expectations.
I look forward to meeting all my new students and beginning a journey full of surprises, new experiences and excitement! If you have an open mind, some curiosity, commitment and determination the Universe can be yours! Let’s have open and respectful communication, which requires good listening skills, good verbal skills and the assumption of the best in others.
